How do I change my password in VisualVault?

The following article explains how to change a user's password in VisualVault. The administrator account in VisualVault can change user's passwords through the Admin Tools, however individual users can change their password on their own as well.

To change a password, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to your VisualVault Login page.
2. Enter the following information:
   • User ID: this will typically be in the format of firstname.lastname
   • Password: the password for your account
   
3. From the My Vault menu, select My Preferences.
4. In the Change Password box, enter the new password.
5. In the Confirm Password box, re-enter the new password.
6. Click Save Changes.
