How do I add a server in Helm?

The following article explains how to add a server in Helm. Helm is designed to manage a single server or a group of servers. Each server Helm manages, including the initial server, must be added in the Helm Control Panel. Once added, you can configure services and resources for your sites.

To add a server in Helm, please follow these steps:

1. Open a Web browser and connect to your Helm Control Panel located at https://ip_address:8086.
2. Login as the Administrator using the information sent to you in your setup email.
3. Expand Helm System.
4. Expand Servers and click Add Server.
5. Enter the requested information:
   • Server Name: enter a name for the server
   • IP Address: enter the IP address of the server, you can use 127.0.0.1 for your server
   • Port: enter 7086
   • Password: enter same password used for the configuration tool
   • Confirm Password: confirm the password
   
6. Click Save.
