How do I setup my Hosted Exchange mailbox in Outlook
The following article explains how to setup a mailbox in Outlook. The setup process involves generating a setup file and running the file on your local machine. This will configure a profile in Outlook that will connect to the Exchange mailbox. This process only needs to be done once for the mailbox.
Note: Outlook must be closed before the profiler is run.
To setup a mailbox in Outlook, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to https://hmcportal.safesecureweb.com
- Log in with the email address and password for the mailbox.
- Click Setup Outlook Account.
- Enter a name for the Outlook Profile.
- Click Submit.
- Save the file to your local machine.
- Close Outlook if it is open.
- Run SetupProfile.exe
Once the setup file completes, a new profile will be created that will allow you to manage your Hosted Exchange mailbox.
