How do I Start, stop or restart my VPS from the Control Panel?

The Control Panel provides a way to start, stop, or restart a VPS easily. Starting or restarting a VPS will allow processes, applications, and programs to run. Stopping a VPS will not allow any user access and disable all processes, applications, and programs.

To start, stop, or restart your VPS from the Control Panel, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com
2. Click on Control Panel Login.
3. Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
4. Click VPS Manager and select VPS Status.
5. In the 'VPS Status Screen', your virtual server's status is displayed as either 'RUNNING' or 'DOWN'. Depending on the status of your server, you have the following options:
   • Start: Clicking this selection will start your server, allowing processes and applications/programs to run
   • Stop: Clicking this selection will stop your server, halting all processes and applications/programs
   • Restart: Clicking this selection will reboot your server
