How do I configure the ColdFusion Administrator to send mail using SmarterMail on my Windows VPS?

The following article explains how to configure the ColdFusion Administrator to send mail using SmarterMail on your Windows VPS. This requires two actions to be performed. The first is to update the ColdFusion Administrator with the external IP address of the server. The second is to configure SmarterMail to accept mail from this IP address. To configure the ColdFusion Administrator, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to http://ipaddress/cfide/administrator/. You will use the IP address for your Windows VPS server.
2. Log into the ColdFusion Administrator using your VPS Remote Desktop user.
3. From the sidebar, expand Server Settings and select Mail.
4. Under Mail Server Settings, enter the external IP address of your VPS server as the Mail Server.
5. Click Submit Changes.
